CBC films a special on DR Russ

Down at the club tonight to talk to Jerry. CBC was there to film a feature story about Russ Kennedy, the doctor/comedian. I took John Perotta's pic as well to add to my website gallery of comedians. A Lesson for Dane Cook - from S Majumder!

Down at the Urban Well last night to do a set on the late show. Shaun Majumder showed up and P-Love put him on the show. Shawn had three pals (two fellow newfies and an American)there so he could of done a long set and nobody would have said boo. He coulda "dane cooked" around the place, but instead he did his time, killed (with some edgy new commentary which I hadn't heard from him, and was modest and respectful about it. Thats the way it's done Dane! And Shaun,is welcome addition the Vancouver comedy this summer. Have fun Shaun, and stay as long as you want!!

The Thundering Word Heard

T-Paul's show has moved location of "Thundering Word Heard" to The Main. I did a short set early and it went real well. Poetry crowds are always challenging, which I like. They ate it up though. Since my headline week at Yuks is done, I'll probably get back to doing some spoken word around town. There's Darby's tonight and then the late show at the Urban Well tomorrow, so there's work to be down this week. My "Supernatural" episode doesn't shoot tell Sept 6, so hopefully I'll have some auditions this week. Meanwhile, the Annual Labour Day Garden Party is coming this weekend, so I'll have to send out invites soon!!
