Not just a sausage party!!

Just when it looked like my party was going to be a sausage party, Claire showed up, is her Eskimo hotness. And then Marla showed up, and made my night. She complained that I had posted a picture of her on my blog when she was barely awake, she approved these shots. I personally thinks she's darn cute regardless, but she was all girled up on that night. She's wearing my trench coat because she lives in the same building, and showed up improperly dressed to stand outside by the fire.

Ryder Morse

Truly the MOST knowledgeable person I have ever met, Ryder can do anything - windsurf, act, play any musical instrument, explain quantum physics, wine or anything. He and I met doing a commercial and have been kindred spirits ever since. He lives in White Rock with his grandfather, who he looks after. What can I say, Ryder is a very special guy.

You probably recognize Marc Jorgenson, and the young guy at the top is Matthew, an aspiring film-maker and saxophone player, who is responsible (along with DLo) for filming, editing and distributing on YouTube, the now infamous "Ballad of Bobby Pickton". If you're interested on how wound up people have gotten about the ballad, check out the www.comedycouch.com on the message board. Man, some people's buttons are TOO easy to push.

Birthday party pics

My party was a blast. 20 people showed up, and all good friends, some new some old, but all my friends. For the last four years, all the party's where filled with the ex's collection of wankers and B-listers (or as Rowan calls them "blisters".) Here we see the first guest, 81 yr old John, the building manager. (it is a good sign when the building manager shows up with a half sack of beer for the party, and doesn't drink any.) Edmun, the bird whisperer, showed up next. Edmun has a couple birds of his own, and Louis spent some time at his place, so they have an amazing affinity. Long time pal Paul Chaboyer showed up, and my cousin Mark. Pictured with me is new friend Paul Maldovonas. It is a good sign that everybody stayed till the end, around 3am.
