ethics, blogs, and Richard Lett POLL

Dear readers, I find myself at place where I am unsure what to do, and so, like on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" I will 'ask the audience'.
Here are the dilemna's.

1. My blog.
Since I began writing this blog, I have only deleted one update. My famous intiation to blogging, and the Toronto comedy scene sorta blindsided me, and so I immediately retracted what I had written. Now I regret not having that blog on file, as I continue to write this blog, the highs and lows, the brutishness and beauty of it can be seen.

Recently I wrote a blog confessing to an affair that I had. I find that being honest and truthful is the only way to go. I find falseness vile, and inevitably boring, and so I write what I do and feel, as truthfully as I can.

This, of course, involvess other people who might not necessarily want 'my truth' on the world wide web. sorry 'bout that, but thats the way it is.

The question is should I remove the blog "the affairs of my life" - and if so why?

2. Ethics/Revenge

My ex managed to retro-actively cancel my dental insurance and now the dentists want 4K from me.

Meanwhile I have in my possession, US savings bonds with a value of $1500US. Do I return these to my ex, who has deliberately thrown 4000 dollars of my money away, to no advantage to herself? Do I contact her and offer to sell them to her? Or do I simply have a party of a few people, and burn them up in my backyard chilm?

This is your chance, dear reader, to weigh in, and interact with my life. Fell free to leave as many responses as you want.

Friday @ Yuk Yuks

Stellar show at the club this week.
These photos were taken by Jeffrey Yu, whom I was correct in assuming - due to his Asian Persuasion - would be familiar and skilled with a camara. Jeff, or The Slippery Slope, as I like to call him, has fast developed into a popular and skilled professional stand-up comic. Chris Quigley, the HL this week at the club, (who was great himself), told me he thought Yu could be an "Asian Russell Peters", implying great success with his own enthic audience, that Peters has found with the Indo culture. Some people see this as "playing the race card", but the reality of the world, (stand-up included) is that visible ethnic differences do exist, as so will naturally be reflected in comedy. To Jeff's credit, his act is only bookended by his Chineseniss, and the rest of his show highlights his sardonic wit, and some surprising filth. His manner doesn't appear to be of someone willing the talk about chewing on tampons, but he does. Because the truth is Jeffrey YU is NOT CHINESE. He's Canadian.
