On the road to valentine

In Kelowna at the end of a two week run. Wasn't quite supposed to go this way but it did. I'll 'splain. They are running low on opening acts in Alberta, and didn't have one arranged for my shows in Red Deer, Rycroft and Grande Prairie. Seth Perry was going to be opening for me the following week in Prince George, Williams Lake and Kelowna. By coincidence I met Keith Sarnoski in Vancouver, and he was living in Edmonton. So I got him to open for me on the Alberta run. On Friday, Seth has to pull out of the BC run and now I'm trying to line someone to leave out of Vancouver. I have a flight back on Sunday from Edmonton after the GP shows, and then I plannned on travelling out to PG with a Vancouver Comic. No one was really available so I suggested Keith do this run too. He figured he would drive to Vancouver on Monday, and pick me up and drive to PG the next day. However, when I ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT - I FOUND THAT I HAD BOOKED A FLIGHT ON MARCH 8TH, NOT FEBRUARY 8.
So, I decide to Stay In Edmonton and then Keith and I will drive to PG form Edmonton. I had planned to be back in Van for a couple days, but this made more sense. I got K to send CD's to me on the bus, but I did leave some things I shoulda picked up, like the card reader that would allow me to post pictures on this blog.

Things have worked themselves out. We picked Keith's old car in Red Deer on the first day, just to get it back to his place in Edmonton and ended up using it when his truck broke down 40 klics out of Edmonton on the way to PG.

Keith's shows have been good, and I've pretty much cleaned up out here. So now we've got two sold out shows in Kelowna, then back to Van (finally) on Sunday. I am doing some showcasing and the Laff off this week, as well as teaching a class on stand-up. Feeling stronger all the time.
