Roast Pics

okay - back to blogging.

Much has happened in the last month, including celebrating my 49th birthday with a roast at the jupiter lounge, the last third is a complete blur to me. I celebrated the one year anniversary of the departure of old lefty, and the beginning of the end of my cancer. Appropriately my friends gather in the same place they held a fundraiser for me, when I was all Chemo'd up, and now I'm back to being the Communities Cheap shot target.

I have made a bunch of new friends and am doing stand-up ALL the time. I am setting up a couple of tours for the summer, as well as surgery for kidney stones.

I guess the remarkable thing is that I'm having fun right now, and don't really have a reason not too. Maybe that's why I haven't been blogging, because I don't have much to bitch about.

So the tone of this is one of a guy, who is starting to feel comfortable in his own skin, feels a lot of positive influences, and ready for whatever comes next. I will be doing two weeks in St John's NFLD and a week in Halifax.

I made another student film and hoping this practice will prepare to land some juicy role in a pro gig.

Today, I am driving out to pick up Bree from school, and she coming here to stay over till tomorrow.

My best joke of the Roast - I thought - was when Jimmy Mac pointed out the Bono and I were born on the same year - I pointed out that between me and Bono, we have impacted 100's of millions of people. What a year!
