New Year's Eve

Spent the last hours of 2008 with my long-time friend Darryl Lenox at Yuk Yuks. 2008 was a hell of a year, most of which was spent fighting off cancer. The effort was worth it though, as I found out yesterday that everything is going according to plan, and I won't need to go back to see them for four months, which is one month longer than last time. This year looks to be one with more fun, more work and better health. I have done a show every night this week, and so it looks to be time to return full time to what I love to do, and do so well. There is still resistance from the usual suspects, but having a new lease on life, I have decided to overcome this resistance with persistence, and patience and positiveness. (The three P's) (Just came up with that!) (It's not bad) (I'll have to remember that.)

Meanwhile, I screwed up on my last blog, saying it was israel and the hezbullah, when it is in fact the Hamas. It is my priviledge to not know the difference, being that I do not have to live throught that. My friend Amanda does, so when I see the news I think and worry about her. Snow is one thing, missiles are another.
Take care A.
