they say the day when most collect calls are made is father's day.
i am at a loss as how to feel, because my own father passed away last march, and my own daughter will be celebrating with her step dad. meanwhile, leanne's dad is coming tomorrow. so to say i'm feeling left out, is true. but, because i am a dad, and a man, i'm not supposed to be bothered by this, and if i am, i'm certainly not supposed to talk about it.
i am hosting the shows at lafflines this weekend, so i'll do some jokes on it. maybe talk about my dad's death. although it doesn't seem like a very humourous topic, i'm sure that something will come of it.
being a dad. the self sacrifice involved is endless. every year i have to buy the latest doll, or toy, or game and I never see it again. i call. i drive. i pay. i protect. thats the way it is. if i need anything... well deal with it.
